Group profile
"Lugnasad" was formed in 2003, running Irish dance classes firstly. Since 2005 we have been also providing Scottish country dance classes, as well as workshops and dancing weekends (starting from 2006, we've hosted 4 international DWEs).
Experienced SCD dancers are members of the RSCDS (International Branch). We have SCD teachers certificated by the Society (currently one fully-qualified teacher based in Kyiv).
"Lugnasad" is an affiliated (official) group of RSCDS - the first and so far the only in Ukraine.
You are always welcome to our classes (from now on they are on Tuesdays, 19:00 to 21:00, Culture centre Rostok, 26/2 Garmatna Str., Kyiv), as well as special events (please contact us for up-to-date information: kreona@ukr.net, +38 097 663 5496, Anastasiia Gavryliuk).
