The RSCDS is always on the lookout for fresh and exciting material to feature in our bi-annual magazine. Delivered to the doorstep of over 12,000 people, the Scottish Country Dancer is read all over the world and is a perfect way to get your voice heard. If you would like to submit material to the magazine, please read the guidelines for submission below.
Please submit photographs, particularly action shots. They should be 300dpi and not less than 500kb (half a megabyte).
Notes for contributors
If you would like to contribute to the Scottish Country Dancer, please download the guidelines before submitting material. This document is meant to make material more cohesive and easier for the Editorial Board to handle and edit. Thank you for your cooperation.
- All material should be sent to the editor by 1st February for the April issue and 1st August for the October issue
- All material, if chosen to be included, will be properly credited to the author and/or photographer
- All material is subject to modification by the editor

Advertising in the magazine
In every issue there is room set aside for adverts and we encourage you to get in touch. We accept adverts from RSCDS Branches/Groups and related organisations.
The Scottish Country Dancer is the perfect way to reach an international audience and promote your brand, event or class, so if you would like to submit an advertisement to the magazine contact the RSCDS office. Please note that all adverts should relate to Scottish Country Dancing and feature the product/event you are advertising and contact information.
