Gatehouse of Fleet

Branch profile

Our branch meets on a Monday night at the Catholic Church Hall, Riverbank, Gatehouse of Fleet, 7.30-9.00pm.

Whilst we are a small group we have fun and enjoy our dancing, we are taught by one of the best dancing teachers, Moira Stacey.

The branch was founded in 1953 on the 1st July, dance classes started on October 12th that year although the dance group had started in 1951 taught by Miss McMurchie .

Our branch supports and fund raises each year for local charities and organisations, we have stong links with Kirkcudbright branch and hold a Burns night dance each year at the end of January.

If any visiting dancer would like to come along you are always welcome.
