Founded in 1952, we are based in Potten End, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, and currently have around 100 members.
Our key aim is to promote the enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing in a lively and friendly social context. To this end, we run a programme of social dancing every Tuesday evening from September through to May, followed, in June and July, by a season of Saturday evening Garden Dances. Our annual calendar of events includes: a Charity Dance; a ‘Themed’ Dance for experienced dancers; a Dance for the Less Experienced; a Christmas Party; a Ceilidh; Burns’ Night; a Tea Dance and a Spring Dance. The highlight of our year is our Highland Ball held in February, which regularly attracts 15-16 sets.
